After much anticipation, Derby based creative agency Koobr is delighted to announce that we has agreed terms to acquire another well established agency in Carmichael Collective.
Carmichael Collective, a full-service creative marketing agency with UK and international clients, will be carried forward by Koobr following terms agreed by the agency’s former owner, Murray Carmichael-Smith.
Murray, who has a long and successful career running the well-established Nottingham-based bcsAgency, said: “I have worked with Craig Barker and the team at Koobr for a number of years and know that their ethos and quality of work align with the high standards that our customers have come to expect. I am excited to see how the business evolves and develops with a new team driving it forward.”
Koobr has experienced consistent growth over the last few years, attracting outstanding talent, exciting projects, and prestigious customers. The acquisition of Carmichael Collective will accelerate Koobr’s growth further over the coming years.
Craig, Director at Koobr, said: “For many years Murray has been an inspiration and mentor to us. We are looking forward to building on the fantastic work and achievements that Murray and his team have accomplished during the last two decades.”
Like so many businesses during these difficult past few months, Koobr has faced many challenges. But thanks to a diverse customer base, dedicated team and new opportunities, Koobr has not only survived but thrived. Local businesses in Derby and the UK have worked alongside the creative agency to ensure they come out of the other side on a positive note.
Craig added: “The challenges of the last few months have forced many to question the priorities in their life. We recognise that many business owners that have worked hard to create a successful company are now looking for a change in direction. The experience we’ve had with Carmichael Collective has inspired us to look for further acquisition opportunities as part of our growth strategy.”
